Let me share my terrible online shopping experience, hoping it serves as a cautionary tale for others. This place is nothing more than an automated business that cares nothing about its customers. They are a fraud, ripping customers off for services they charge for and do NOT provide. I decided to leave this review and engage with customer service after paying a $19.95 'next day delivery' fee, only to be told hours later my order would take 3 business days. My frustration peaked trying to get a refund for a service not delivered, facing automated bots and an unhelpful human interaction that just ended the call.
Customer: "I paid $19.95 for next day delivery, but my order confirmation says it will take 3 business days. That's not what I paid for. I need a refund for that shipping fee." CS Rep: "I understand your frustration, and I sincerely apologize for the discrepancy between the next day delivery option you selected and the estimated delivery time for your order. Let me pull up your order details right away." Customer: "Yes, please. This isn't the first time I've tried to address this. I've been through the automated chat and sent emails, but I've received no real help, only bots repeating the same information. It's incredibly frustrating." CS Rep: "I'm very sorry to hear about the difficulties you've faced trying to resolve this. That's certainly not the experience we want our customers to have. I see your order for the Plano lenses and the expedited shipping charge. It appears there was a system error that prevented the 'next day' processing, despite the item not needing a prescription. I'm initiating a full refund of your $19.95 shipping fee for you now." Customer: "So, the refund is actually happening? I was told by another agent they would just 'submit a request' and it would be 'up to the billing department'." CS Rep: "Yes, I have processed the refund directly on my end. You should see the credit reflected in your account within 3-5 business days. Again, please accept my apologies for the inconvenience and the confusing information you received previously."
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap of unfulfilled promises and unresponsive customer service.
